PEORIA HEIGHTS INVITE The Rebels Cross Country teams were at Detweiller Park in Peoria Saturday (Oct. 26) for the Peoria Heights Invite. The Girls team finished 10th out 31 teams despite only having 5 girls available to run. Ashley Orrick (39th - 20:15) ran a Season Best time to lead the Girls to the finish line. Trinity Shimmin (78t - 21:30) and Alyssa Dyken (81st - 21:38) were next to finish both running new Personal Best times. Paige Rewerts (115th - 22:15) and Lena Becker (169th - 24:11) rounded out the Girls scoring. The Boys finished 36th out of 41 teams. Alex Welch (99th - 17:40) set a new Personal Best time and his time is the fastest time ran by a Rebel Boy just edging Riley Down's 17:41 ran at last year's Elmwood/Brimfield Invite. Payton Stahl (192nd - 19:07) was next also running a new Personal Best time. The other three finishers for the Boys were Caden Daum (211th - 19:28), Rilley Bowen (241st - 20:11) and Brett Browning (286th - 21:29).
